MVP
The smallest working version that already delivers value and lets you learn.
An MVP, short for Minimum Viable Product, is the smallest working version of something new. It doesn't do everything yet, but it does enough to deliver real value and to learn whether you are on the right track. Rather than building the full plan straight away, you build the smallest piece that already delivers something.
The thinking behind it is that you only really know whether something works once people use it. An MVP brings that moment forward. Instead of spending months building an idea that holds up on paper, you put something in users' hands early and pay attention to what they do with it.
Note the word working. An MVP is not a half-finished product that frustrates people, but a deliberately small product that does one thing well. You add the rest once you are sure it is the right direction.
