Cookie policy.
Welcome to our website. This cookie policy explains what cookies are, how we use them, and what choices you have about their use.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites send to your device when you visit them. On each subsequent visit, the cookie is sent back to the original website or to another site that recognises it. Cookies store information about your visits, such as your preferred language and other settings, which makes your next visit easier.
2. Which cookies we use
We use the following types of cookies:
- Functional cookies: needed for the website to work properly (e.g. remembering your cookie preference). No consent is required for these.
- Anonymous, cookieless statistics (Umami): to see how the site is used, without cookies and without personal data. Because no cookies or personal data are involved, we use these without consent.
- Analytics and marketing cookies (Google Analytics, Leadinfo, StatCounter): for deeper insight into usage, visitor numbers and recognising visiting companies. We only place these after your explicit consent via the cookie banner.
3. Anonymous statistics (Umami)
For general visitor statistics we use Umami, a privacy-friendly tool that places no cookies and stores no personal data. The figures are aggregated and anonymous. Because no cookies or identifiable data are involved, this works without consent, even if you refuse the other cookies.
4. Google Analytics, Leadinfo and StatCounter (only after consent)
If you give consent via the cookie banner, we also use Google Analytics, Leadinfo and StatCounter. Google Analytics uses cookies to analyse how you use the site; in doing so, information (including your IP address) is sent to Google. Leadinfo recognises which company is visiting the site based on the IP address. StatCounter uses cookies to count visitors and distinguishes unique from returning visitors. Without your consent we load none of these; if you refuse, only the anonymous, cookieless statistics above remain.
5. Your choices
On your first visit, our cookie banner asks whether you allow the analytics and marketing cookies (Google Analytics, Leadinfo, StatCounter). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the 'Cookie preferences' link at the bottom of every page. The cookieless statistics (Umami) and the functional cookies are not covered by this and always remain active. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.
For more information about cookies and how to manage them, see your browser's 'Help' section or visit allaboutcookies.org.
