Business intelligence
Turning data into clear management information.
Business intelligence, or BI for short, is turning raw data into clear management information. Instead of scattered figures from different systems, you get overviews and reports that show how your business is doing and what you need to keep an eye on.
The value lies in bringing things together. BI pulls data from your sales, your stock and your accounting and puts it side by side, so you see connections that stay hidden in the separate systems. That way you base decisions on figures rather than on gut feeling.
BI is only as good as the data underneath it. If the source data is wrong, even the best-looking reports give a distorted picture. A reliable overview therefore starts with clean, shared data.
