Make IT So
For scale-ups

Your product works. Your growth is getting stuck on processes.

Your product has launched and things are moving fast. But the way of working from when you were ten is creaking now you're forty. We bring structure without taking out the speed that made you big.

The pattern of fast growth

What grew along and what fell behind.

3x
more people

Your team triples in a few years. The arrangements from back then no longer fit the organisation of today.

processes that grew along by themselves

What worked with ten people creaks with forty. Nobody redesigned the way of working, because there was no time.

1
role that's usually missing

The one person who keeps the overview and channels the growth is often exactly who's missing. We fill that role temporarily.

01 · Sound familiar?

The growing pains every scale-up knows.

Three moments when fast-growing companies call us. If one of them sounds familiar, you're in the right place.

A

Every new hire makes things slower instead of faster.

You hire people to speed up, but with no structure, onboardingNieuwe gebruikers of klanten vlot wegwijs maken in een systeem. and alignment cost more than they deliver. The founders remain the beating heart everything has to pass through.

B

We're building a lot, but nobody knows exactly why any more.

The roadmapEen digitale roadmap is je stappenplan voor digitalisering: welke stappen je in welke volgorde zet, zodat je niet alles tegelijk hoeft te doen. is the sum of what customers and the sales team shout for. There's no shared line, and technical debtUitgesteld onderhoud dat later duurder wordt om op te lossen. piles up because there's never time to look back.

C

The founders are stuck between vision and day-to-day firefighting.

You should be working on the future, but the day goes on operational knots nobody else unties. Letting go doesn't work, because there's no framework to hand things over to.

02 · Our approach

Structure that suits a scale-up, not a cumbersome straitjacket.

Many companies lose their edge as soon as they introduce processes. It doesn't have to be that way. Below you can read what we do and what we deliberately leave out.

Yes

Just enough process to carry the growth, and not an ounce more.

No

A thick handbook of procedures nobody opens after a month.

Yes

Taking the load off the founders so they can work on the future again.

No

An extra management layer that actually slows decisions down.

Yes

Teaching your team to carry it themselves, so we can leave again.

No

A dependence on us that keeps running month after month.

03 · How an engagement runs

From growing pains to a rhythm that scales.

We don't do it all at once. We build it up step by step while you keep delivering.

01
Weeks 1-2
Listening and mapping

We talk to founders, leads and people on the floor. We map how you work today and where it pinches.

02
Months 1-2
Installing the first cadence

A light rhythm of decisions and priorities. Just enough to bring calm, not so much that it stifles.

03
Months 2-6
Anchoring it with your people

We hand the role over step by step to your own leads. They go first, we stand alongside.

05 · The roles

What we do. What you keep doing.

We don't take the founders' seat. We fill the role that's often missing during fast growth.

What we do

We temporarily channel the growth.

  • Keeping the overviewOne person who sees how all the pieces fit together while the team expands.
  • Rhythm and prioritiesA light cadence of decisions, so not everything has to go through the founders any more.
  • Growing the leadsWe coach your own people so they take the role over.

What you keep doing

Everything that made you big stays yours.

  • The product and the visionWhat you build and where you want to go remain entirely your territory.
  • The decisionsWe bring structure and advice. You make the calls.
06 · What that looks like

Beeple: from a start-up with a shifting course to a scale-up with a rhythm.

Beeple builds a SaaS platform for workforce planning and grew at breakneck speed. The teams lacked a shared rhythm and the roadmap was a sum of wishes. We installed a light cadence, sharpened the product vision and coached the leadership. The team grew from ten to forty people without things seizing up.

07 · Frequently asked questions

What founders ask before they start.

Missing one? Call or email. We answer without a sales pitch.

Another question? Call us for half an hour

Won't you ruin our culture with process?

That's exactly what we avoid. We introduce just enough structure to carry the growth and not an ounce more. The speed that made you big is the last thing we want to take out.

Do you take over from the founders?

No. We temporarily fill the overview role that's often missing during fast growth, and hand it over to your own leads. For moments when the founders would rather spar than let go, take a look at coaching too.

How long do you stay involved?

As short as possible, as long as necessary. We build towards independence from day one. As soon as your team carries the cadence itself, we step back.

What if we first just want to know where it's creaking?

Then start with the growth audit, or take the free quickscan. Sometimes it turns out you can handle it yourselves, and then you'll hear that too.

We're more of an agency than a product scale-up. Does this still apply?

Certainly. An agency can also grow fast and run into the same growing pains, and we can help you just as well with that. Our page for agencies is about a different case: companies that deliver for SMEs and find things getting stuck because their client has nobody to align all the partners. Are you more of an established company that's digitalising? Then the one for SMEs fits better. Not sure where you fit? One conversation and we'll tell you honestly.
