Digital maturity
How far your business has come in its digitalisation: from separate tools to a coherent whole.
Digital maturity indicates how far your organisation has come in its use of technology. At a low level, you work with separate tools that don't know about each other, a lot of Excel and a lot of entering the same data twice. At a high level, your systems work together, your data is accurate and technology supports your decisions.
It is useful to know where you stand, because that determines which steps make sense. A company still working with isolated islands gets little out of the latest AI project. First you get the basics in order, then you build further.
You don't measure your maturity by the number of tools you have, but by how well they work together and how much they really help your people in their daily work.
