Change management
Bringing people along with a change, so that new ways of working actually stick.
Change management is about bringing people along with a change. You can install a new system perfectly and still fail, simply because your team keeps working the old way. The technology is one side; people's habits are the other.
Change creates resistancePeople's natural reluctance when things change., and that is normal. Someone who has worked a certain way for years does not just give it up. Good guidance takes that resistance seriously: it explains why the change is needed, listens to the objections and gives people the time and support to come along.
The goal is for the new way of working to stick, even when attention fades. A change you have to keep forcing has not yet succeeded.
